Account Creation & Deletion
A quick guide to walk you through Account Creation & Deletion.
Before you can begin creating stories and exploring worlds, you'll need to make an account.

Signup
When you click the Login button you'll be met with the login prompt. By clicking the 'Sign Up' link, you'll be given the signup prompt.
You can choose which log in method you prefer and for email logins you'll have to create an account. After receiving your verification email you will be met with this prompt field.
This email address will be locked to this account. It cannot be changed and cannot be reused to create a new account, even if you delete the existing one.

Registration
You will choose a name and gender which will be used to fill your first Persona which we'll get to in the next section. You'll be able to edit this later.
↳ Personas
You can type any gender you want, and tap 'create' to make a custom gender.
Your username becomes the handle of your profile URL.
xoul.ai/profile/CANNOT-BE-CHANGED
Once set the username cannot be changed and will be forever tied to this login method.
Do NOT delete your account hoping to change your username. Emails have a one-time use, and the same email cannot be used to create a new account.
If your username is offensive, you may be permanently banned from the platform.

Preferences
Here you will select the gender of content you would like to see in the xouls for you section on the homepage, and the genre & tags you'd like that section to favor.
This will also determine which popular creators are recommended to you on the home page.
You can change your preferences at any time from your account settings preference tab.
Account Deletion
WARNING: Deleting will not make the email associated with the account reusable. One email, one account. Attempts to create a new account with an email associated with a deleted account will not work.
To permanently delete your account on Xoul.AI you will have to navigate to your account settings and find the FAQ entry in the FAQ / Support section:

By clicking this link, you will open an interface where you provide a reason to delete the account. Once an account is deleted all content will be removed from the system after a period of time. The email associated with the account will be permanently locked into a disabled state and will not be available to create a new account with.
Delete your content first.
Content is temporarily stored in case a user decides to restore the account but after some time, recovery may no longer be possible.
If you are certain that you want your account and all associated content permanently removed from the system as quickly as possible, manually delete the content then delete the account.
